The Nut Shop is a family run business, with a long history at the Strand Arcade. Established in 1939 with the chocolates made on site during the 1940s by Karl Mendels, father and grandfather to the present owners. Since then, The Nut Shop has grown to be a well known Sydney institution, specialising in candied nuts, chocolates and much more.
