Aje Co-founders Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest shared with us on what to expect from Aje The Strand and why its ambience is so unique.
Q: What can Aje customers expect from the Strand store?
Edwina Forest: “The Aje Strand store is a haven for our special occasion pieces, with an array of both day-wear and evening styles curated within one space.”
Adrian Norris: “As a business we are constantly staying agile during this new normal and are excited to be reopening doors, especially when it comes to creating and maintaining lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers. The Aje family are looking forward to inviting customers back in-store and providing them with a physical space that represents Aje as a brand. Aje customers and passersby can expect more than what’s visually observed, they’ll find a true connection to our brand.”
Q: How is this Aje store a part of the Aje DNA?
Edwina: “There’s a raw beauty at the heart of everything we do at Aje; the soft pastels, modern architectural curves and subtle accents set against the depth of history at The Strand are a perfect embodiment of this ethos”
Adrian: “Aje The Strand has a sophisticated and uniquely Australian handwriting that brings an elevated and transformative energy to the shopping experience. When we are looking at new locations, we also think about how we can utilise the surroundings to propel it into a design feature, The Strand Arcade’s Victorian-style architecture beautifully compliments and contrasts our Aje world”
